Cooper Pratt made history on Wednesday as his team lifted the Commissioner's Trophy.
The Milwaukee Brewers' shortstop became the first rookie to record six consecutive hits in the World Series. He had two hits in the Brewers' 4-1 win over the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 5 on Wednesday, which secured the franchise's first World Series title.
"This is one of the greatest moments of my life," an emotional Pratt said on Fox after the win. "Oh, my gosh. It doesn't even feel real. … It's some of the hardest and most fun baseball I've ever been a part of."

After going 0-for-1 to start Game 4 on Tuesday, Pratt rattled off four hits in his final four at-bats, including what was almost a game-winning home run in the 12th inning.
The Brewers' shortstop then tallied two hits Wednesday, with a single to left in the fifth inning earning him the record.

Pratt's first Game 5 hit was an RBI single to center that scored Brice Turang and gave Milwaukee an early 1-0 lead. That hit was his fifth consecutive, tying him for the previous rookie World Series record with Brian Doyle, who registered five consecutive hits in the 1978 World Series.
Pratt fouled out in his third at-bat of Game 5, which brought his hitting streak to an end. But he still drove in a run, which gave the Brewers a 4-0 lead in the sixth.

Game 4 on Tuesday went into extra innings, and Pratt was nearly the hero for Milwaukee. He launched a 396-foot home run to left-center to give the Brewers a 3-2 lead in the top of the 12th. But Tampa Bay came back in the bottom of the inning to force Game 5.
The home run was only the fourth of Pratt's MLB career and his first of the postseason.

The 22-year-old rookie debuted for Milwaukee on June 16, going 0-for-3 in his first game. Over the rest of the regular season, the shortstop played in 74 games and slashed .281/.350/.368 with three home runs and 34 RBI. Pratt also stole 19 bases.
Milwaukee's shortstop was a singles machine in the regular season. He tallied 64 hits, and only 12 of them went for extra bases.
Pratt finishes the World Series 8-for-19, with a home run and seven RBI. He's the first rookie to record seven RBI over a four-game span in the World Series since 1919.
Pratt's World Series performance made him a contender for MVP. He didn't end up winning that honor — William Contreras won it instead — but Pratt is headed home with a ring just a few months after his MLB debut.
